Nylon Ströke Unleash 'Vigilante' at Amplifier Bar This Friday

Perth trio rockers Nylon Ströke are back in full force

and this Friday they’re hitting Amplifier Bar to launch Vigilante, the track that started it all.

If you ask me directly about Nylon Ströke, I'd tell you the hair is the bait; the music is the trap.

Adam and Gregor met years ago at a Legs Electric gig at the Bassendean Hotel, “arms locked and head banging together” before they even spoke .This connection turned into a band in 2018, when Adam’s previous project dissolved and he called Gregor to help build something new. Their very first jam produced Vigilante... the track that would define their sound and set the tone for everything Nylon Ströke would become.

With Adam on vocals and bass, Gregor on lead guitar, and Sean on drums, the trio pull from three different corners of rock: Papa Roach‑leaning modern heaviness, Slash and Jimmy Page blues‑driven guitar work, and the raw, unpolished grit of Motörhead and The Sex Pistols. They describe their music in three words: “Loud, Fast, Raw.”

Nylon Ströke pride themselves on their performances. Adam states "We’ve always put an emphasis on being a live band that puts on a fun show. It's why when we write songs we try to make the choruses easy to pick up and sing along to". They want the crowd to have just as much fun hearing the songs as they do playing them. "Gigging is fun, writing songs with my best friend is fun. Music has been who I am since I was 15 years old and I can’t imagine myself doing anything else"

Nylon Ströke have just released their new single Vigilante, and the response has been unreal. Now they’re taking it to the stage with a full‑force launch show this Friday, August 21 at Amplifier Bar, supported by Parabelum and Coupla Studs.

be sure to chuck them a follow on instagram and check out their music on Spotify, Apple Music or on our Fresh Cuts playlist.
