Mitch Santiago took to the stage at the Rosemount Hotel with a quiet confidence to an already full and excited crowd. There was a sense that many in the crowd may not have known his name before that night; by the end of his set they certainly did.

He switched effortlessly between guitar, keys, drums and vocals, proving himself a true multi-instrumentalist. He opened strong with tracks like “Seeing Straight” and “Falling”, and later dropped fan-favourites such as “Home & In Love” and “Bandaids”. Each song built momentum, showcasing his musicianship and knack for pulling emotion from every instrument he touched. By the final chord, any initial curiosity had turned into a very impressed crowd. A standout performance from one of Perth’s most exciting young artists.
